Starting Monday, January 29, 2024, the Roo Express will be undergoing a temporary route change due to construction on the north side of the intersection of Exchange Street and Sumner Street. The City of Akron has indicated that the detour is expected to last for approximately two weeks.

Route detours for the Roo Express are as follows:

Outbound Route (from the METRO Transit Center toward campus): E. Exchange → Right on Buckeye St → Right on Carroll St → Student Union.

Inbound Route (from campus toward the METRO transit center): From Student Union → Carroll St → Left on Wolf Ledges → Left on Arc St → Right on E. Exchange.
