Parking Guide for University of Akron

PARKING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON

Resolve outstanding tickets now to avoid vehicle immobilization

To keep our campus parking fair and running smoothly, UAkronPark reminds everyone with a vehicle on campus to promptly settle any unpaid parking fines. Vehicles with $100 or more in unpaid parking fines are subject to being immobilized with a wheel lock, commonly known as a boot.

UAkronPark has contracted with Paylock, Inc. to provide boots and remote management services. Boots can now be unlocked immediately upon payment using a code obtained via Paylock. This allows boots to be removed by customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Once a vehicle has been booted, it is essential to settle the outstanding balance immediately to avoid additional storage fees of $12 per day after the first day. Boots must be returned to the UAkronPark office within 72 hours, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., to avoid late charges. Lost or damaged boots will result in additional fees.

If you park on campus, we urge you to check for any unresolved parking tickets and clear them through iParq as soon as possible. Outstanding violations can be settled online using a credit card via akron.thepermitstore.com.

A full list of our rules and regulations is available at uakronpark.com. If you have any questions, please contact UAkronPark via email at Info@UAkronPark.com or by phone at 330-972-7213. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
